
Healthy and principled nutrition is one of the most important factors in maintaining the physical and mental health of the elderly. As the body ages, it experiences many changes in metabolism, vitamin needs, and digestive ability. Therefore, a precise, scientific, and yet diverse diet plan can play a fundamental role in increasing energy, preventing diseases, and improving the quality of life of the elderly. At Tohid Elderly Rehabilitation and Care Institute, all meals and snacks are designed under the supervision of a nutritionist and are reviewed each season based on the physical conditions and individual needs of the elderly. To ensure the quality of the food, they are prepared with premium meat, first-class Iranian rice, and fresh, high-quality vegetables.
Normal diet plan: This plan is for the elderly who do not have special medical needs.
Normal: A standard combination of protein, Iranian rice, and fresh vegetables in a way that meets all the daily needs of the body.
Diet: Lighter, lower-calorie foods for seniors who need a lighter diet for specific reasons, such as being overweight or having digestive problems.
Diabetic Diet Plan: Given the high prevalence of diabetes among seniors, this plan is especially important.
Gavage Diet Plan: Some seniors cannot eat normally for medical reasons and require gavage nutrition. In this case, meals are scientifically prepared and given in a liquid, absorbable form through a feeding (NG) tube. These meals contain all the vitamins, micronutrients, and proteins the body needs to maintain the senior’s overall health.
Breakfast: One of the most important and important meals that starts with a combination of nutritious, nutritious and varied foods to provide enough energy to start the day.
Morning snack: A light and quick snack such as fruit juice or low-fat milk and tea and liquids along with biscuits and cake to prevent weakness and low blood sugar until lunchtime.
Lunch: The main meal of the day according to the weekly plan, including complete and balanced foods that cover all food groups (protein, carbohydrates and vegetables).
Afternoon snack: A healthy and light choice such as seasonal fruits and fruit juice and tea and ice cream with diet biscuits to refresh energy and control blood sugar.
Dinner: A balanced and lighter meal than lunch that helps with easier digestion and restful sleep.
Nighttime snack: A simple and relaxing snack such as warm milk or herbal tea, and fluids and juice that facilitate more restful sleep.
The visiting hours of Towhiad Elderly Care Institute are the same as the visiting hours of the center’s elderly. Meeting hours during the first semester are from 10:00 to 12:00 and 16:00 to 18:00 and during the second semester from 9:30 to 11:30 and 15:00 to 17:00. Admission and accommodation procedures are preferably done in the morning. In order to get more information and administrative work by visiting in person, from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, the administrative department of the center is fully responsive to respected clients.
